Originally from northern Indiana, Michael has lived in Massachusetts since 1990.  He has been in the portrait industry for over 42 years and has photographed thousands of families, children and HS seniors during that time.  

Michael has the following degrees from Professional Photographers of America:

The Master of Photography (M.Photog.) degree is awarded to photographers for their superior photographic skills demonstrated through the Photographic Open category of PPA’s International Photographic Competition, advanced education, and service to the industry. 

The Photographic Craftsman (Cr.Photog.) degree is awarded to photographers for their service as a speaker, author or mentor.  This degree shows that you have gone beyond the creation of images and dedicated your time to move the industry forward and encourage education.

The CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) designation is the official credential for photographers that want to set themselves apart within the photography industry. The CPP program from PPA assures potential clients of a photographer's knowledge, experience, and ability to develop new skills and techniques.
